Future Rolex Sub new case ?

Hi!

Visiting the web site Rolexpassionreport, at New Basel 2018 Rolex & Tudor Collection post it shows a probably PM Sub, with jewels 💎 (bling?) where we
can actually see a new case shape. Could this be (under the radar) predictive
of a future case update, with a slimmer shape ?

Best Wishes!

J.

Is there a link or a picture?

I think that if the GMT didn't get a new case when it got a new movement, then it's highly unlikely we'll see one for the Sub.

I know people think that there is a new case for the SS Pepsi GMT, but if there are changes, they are so subtle that they're basically irrelevant.

Rolex language makes it sound like there is actually a case redesign but there isn't one reviewer from Basel that actually acknowledges a change. Reworking of the lugs, new tecniques producing higher polish, but nothing visually noticeable. We will have to wait until models show up and the calipers will likely conclude nothing has changed. Every photo I've seen looks like the same case.
The Deepsea definitely has a redesign but it's bracelet is larger.
