Chandigarh AD in India / Stock levels...

Visited the AD in Chandigarh earlier today.

They had a total of 6 DJs in the display and 1 in the window! That’s it! The staff was embarrassed on what they had for sale.

I was not able to understand their pricing. I could not work out how they add a premium to the retail price and by how much.

I suspect once a reference comes in, they contact interested customers and the one who offers the most gets it?! I know it sounds unbelievable.

Anyways a couple of pics...

Premiums is like grey seller. But that is to keep buyers away!

Common in some ADs in India, Thailand too

Very interesting. I am assuming that’s the only AD in Punjab?

Painful almost to look at..barren wasteland of a display. Feel bad for the poor staff there if they are working on commission.

Blame Rolex for holding back on production.

Yes I think this is the only location in Punjab.

Yes the pricing is shady. I was told I will be contacted by WhatsApp to discuss prices?!

Yes the 3 staff were twiddling their thumbs with nothing to do. Only person busy was the cleaner in the pic.

The manager confirmed it was a case of increased demand and a decrease in supply.

Thats the sparsest window I’ve ever seen. London is raining with Rolex in comparison!
