I went shopping and .....
I discovered a watch that "Needed" to be rescued from the AD.
I was in Central London today and accidentally on purpose happened across the London Rolex Boutique. I am sure it was not intentional (That''s a lie !) I decided that it would be a sin if I didn't pop in to see if anything caught my eye. Well of course something did .... I saw a DD - 118135 - Thats a Rose gold 36mm DD on Brown leather strap with a chocolate dial. These watches have been discontinued by Rolex ... They no longer make Leather strap DD's ... Only President bracelet versions are available. After a very nice cup of coffee that was offered to me I tried it on ..... It fitted like a glove ! I am nowadays more used to 40mm watches (Rolex Sub date and GMT II and also PP Aquanaut and Nautilus). The 36mm looked a little small on my wrist at first but after 10 mins in the shop either it grew or my eyes changed and it looked great. A deal was agreed and after paying I had yet another Rolex in my collection. I have so far only taken one photo. The brown object on the DD's right side is a protective case. I keep all my watches in cases and even colour coded cases ... Every watch has a different colour case. I keep the watches in cases for protection in the bank. I can't keep the boxes in the bank .. they are quite simply too big. Anyway, as is customary, Here is my first picture (Not a great one as it was taken with my iPhone). http://

That is a very nice DD, I've tried on the leather strap DD with green face and love it. Didn't realise they have been discontinued though.
