Only 2 weeks to service my 14270 at RSC Bev Hills
Recently bought a 14270 from the year 2000 (last year of that model) with no holes, flip lock clasp and super luminova. The only difference btwn this and a 114270 is that the 114270 has SEL and I gotta say, I love the way the HEL adds to the light weight on the wrist.
I brought the watch to RSC Beverly Hills on April 30, they told me on the spot that the crystal was not a Rolex crystal and would have to be replaced. I wanted the watch serviced b/c it had no service history in the Rolex books and I prefer the peace of mind so I can take her into the water and treat her like a tool watch for many years to come. I was told it could take a month, more likely it would take 3 weeks. RSC called me today - the 15th - Only took 2 weeks to service. Picked her up and she looks amazing. No polish but w/ the RSC steam clean it looks new to me. Love this thing. Can't post pics b/c I'm new here but I will soon enough. |

Good for them! Sounds like RSC is taking a lesson from the independents. The 9 week thing is crap. The work can be done in 2 weeks.
