12 Step Program For TRF Timepiece Enthusiasts

Welcome,

The first step is in admitting you have a problem.
Have you heard about the TRF 12 Step program?

Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over timepieces and our lives became enjoyable.

Step 2: Came to believe that a Power of a properly wound mainspring could restore us to sanity.

Step 3: Made a decision to turn our timepiece maintenance over to the care of our AD, as we understand Him.

Step 4: Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our collection.

Step 5: Admitted to God, to ourselves, and the AD the exact nature of our desires.

Step 6: Were entirely ready to have the AD remove all stickers from a new Rolex.

Step 7: Humbly asked AD to shorten links during resizing.

Step 8: Made a list of all persons whose timepieces we desired, and became willing to make amends to get them all.

Step 9: Made direct compliments on TRF to people who had said timepieces, except when to do so would result in a bad trade deal.

Step 10: Continued to take personal inventory of our timepieces, and when we dinged the case promptly admitted it (and posted pics on TRF titled "Can This Be Fixed?").

Step 11: Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our contact with local AD, as we understood Him, praying only for allocation of His allotment to us and the power to 'get the call'.

Step 12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to watchoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

And yes, i just made the above up... kinda sorta... thx AA <-- oops!
