Scratches on Bezel Numbers - CHNR

I was admiring my new GMT II CHNR with a loop this week and saw what looked like black tar inside the "18" number on the bezel. I assumed it was left over from the ceramic process. I used a needle to remove it and it looks like I scratched the inside of the "8" on the bezel. It is not visible with the naked eye so I am not overly concerned. I am amazed at how easily this surface scratched. Anybody else experienced something similar. I can be a bit anal about these kind of things - especially with a brand new watch - but I know I can always get a new bezel. How much for a new replacement bezel?
