Moron of the month!
Took my seamaster 300m to have band adjusted at NYC Omega boutique after a few meetings in midtown. Brought the warranty card with me just in case. Went into pocket to find warranty card and it turns out that I must have dropped it somewhere along the way. Bought the watch from a noted gray dealer and it is pristine, purchased in May of 2019 and had most of 5 year warranty left. Now I am screwed as Omega will not service, if needed, without warranty card. I know I can send it to an independent watchmaker if I have a problem but it just ticks me off that I could have been so careless.
I am officially this month's moron!!! |

They wouldn’t have needed the warranty card just to size a bracelet. I wouldn’t have even thought of bringing it. Most of not all of the AD’s I’ve ever been to does bracelet sizing for free regardless if you bought the watch from them or not.
Worst comes to worse they’ll charge like $10 or something small. |

I can feel your frustration. But things happen. I know you want it in case service is required. I would be frustrated too. Is there any chance that you registered your purchased on Omega’s website?

No way to go back in time so I'd let it go. I never used warranty with any Omega or Rolex I owned. If you want new documents send to Omega for service in a couple years and get a red travel case as well. No worries.

You can just buy a new card if you want to. Pretty sure it’s only about £100-£200
But why would you need to? Are you planning on sending it in for warranty work? Most people wait 7-10 years to service it. I doubt you’ll neee to send it in before then |

Don't beat yourself up over it - could happen to anyone.
There are remedies. Good luck with it - Ben. |

Hind sight is 20/20. Sorry about your dilemma!
I would’ve placed it in my wallet for security. I’m sure there are ways around the warranty card . |

Yep, acknowledging your issue is the first step lol. But really man, sorry to hear that. If it is any consolation, the watch will probably not need service in the first 5 years anyway. |

Omega will service without the warranty card. But it will be chargeable. This isn’t likely to pose you a problem anyway as has been said already, it is unlikely to need a service I’m the warranty period anyway.
