What's the biggest steak you've ever consumed? Fat and all...
14oz NY cut for me.
Can't do more than that for some reason. And I'm a fat guy. |

I’m a big guy and honestly my stomach can only handle so much fat. I rarely finish a ribeye but could probably east 20oz of prime filet if trying to prove a point lol
To answer your question probably just a 10oz filet because I never eat all the fat on bone in ribeyes etc

About 5 years ago I could do a 16 oz. But back then I also skipped fillers (apps/salad/wine etc) and ate like a carnivore. Now I’m pretty much full after 4! I still love the steakhouse experience and despite not eating as much steak, order the same size and bring home leftovers for the dogs.

I completed many 32-36 oz tomahawks and a couple 40oz porterhouses back in my younger years. When I used to lift weights and work hard, I could eat/drink anything. Now I push pencils and a 14-16 oz ribeye is my limit.

I do the 32oz Porterhouse at Capital Grill semi often but I'd say half the weight is bone.

I did one of the steak challenges at Prime Quarter in undergrad. I think it was 64 oz...plus a salad, potato, and a Guinness to top it all off. Hardest part was chewing that much meat. I think my jaw hurt for a few days afterwards.

I've done a 24 oz Tomahawk way back 20+ years ago.
I just can't eat as much as I used to. I can do 14-16oz now, maybe, with one glass of red and a single side. |

With a bone, prob 18-20 oz, if a filet more like 12-14oz if with a meal.
Never tried to do one of those challenges to eat a whole Tomahawk steak.

Destroyed a 44oz tomahawk once. It was glorious and painful and everything I could ask for.

Makes me think of John Candy in The Great Outdoors, with the “Old 96’er” I think for me — tops has probably been a 22oz Porterhouse. I don’t like fat AT ALL. I shared half of a 16oz A5 steak with my Wheaten Terrier. |

I only do filet mignon as well.
I'm far more interest in smaller incredible tasting food than massive overflowing plates of anything. My favorite restaurant in my area is Auberge de Soleil in the Napa area which has the most incredible 4-5 courses of succulent morsels of food that is better than sex. ( that may be a bit of hyperbole). |

I think this Rump was my largest steak. A treat from my local butcher for a favour I cannot mention on here.

A 500g fillet - dry aged. Was excellent.
Do not like fat around a steak.

I’ve gone 20+ ounces (boneless) but have eaten much more at churrasqueria.
