Rootbeer TT GMT availability?

I know all about the difficulty in getting SS models through the AD at the moment. I was wondering what about the availability of the new Rootbeer tt gmt. Is this model more accessible seeing that it’s a tt model?. I want to pick one up sometime later this year but don’t want to put my name on a list or order one if I can get it within three to six months. If it’s a longer haul then I’ll do that. Thanks in advance!

Put my name down at AD last week and AD was fairly confident shouldn’t be more than a month or 2, but we’ll see about that

Great piece, so understated in real life. Wait until you are ready then put your name on the list. If your AD can tell you want it for later he won’t add your name

Aha, from the sound of it I should let the AD know a few months ahead of time and make sure the funds are available in case it comes in earlier.

You should ask that AD now - just to be sure what their policy is for ordering. Some have been known to ask for a hefty non-refundable deposit (up to 50%). Others want full payment in advance.

What we may tell you about ADs in our homelands May not be true in Netherlands.

My AD orders for me without having to put down a deposit. He knows ill purchase it when it comes in. I will definitely wait till September before ordering, have to work hard and fill the watch fund first......as far as I can tell they are not as hard to get as the ss models. Only downside is that the prices surely will have gone up by then..

I ordered one in June last year, I have been told it will arrive next month, well worth the wait IMHO.

I really never mind having to wait. The wait makes it that much more enjoyable when it arrives....Post some pictures when it's yours!

Based on ADs I've spoken to, I think one could be had in a few weeks, maybe a month
