Should my explorer 2, k serial 2001, have the laser etched crown as I cant seem to see it ?

2001 was around the time that they started to appear. It is fair to say that a very early K release might not have yet been fitted with the etched crystal.

Or, perhaps, it's there but you just have not found it..

Hi, it's actually a k 72**** serial. I've just read on the forum that explorers don't have them ?
