Which would you let go
I'm thinking of getting a seadweller 16600 but I have to let something go.
Either my ceramic sub or 3186 explorer 2. I'm thinking the ex 2 should stay as its discontinued. Both were bought by me from an AD. I guess what I'm basically asking us will I be sorry to let the ex2 go.I think the newer ones are going up all the time, whereas the sub is probably around for years.I had a 1665 but sold it and I think I want to replace it with the newer one now. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Correct me of I'm wrong, but that SD looks like a 1665, not a 16600.
In any event, get rid of the Sub and grab that SD. |

Sell the Sub, sounds like you are more attached to the Exp2.

With Sydney ADs never having the Sub in stock with long wait lists, hopefully you will get a great price for it when you sell it or trade it in

Maybe if funds allow add it to your collection and decide in a few months depending on how much wrist time it gets, you might find a way of keeping all 3 ;)

Same here in UK never see a SS SubC in the window and my AD only had one 114060 in almost 4 months and had 3 LVc's in over the same period. I thought both black SS Subs would be in stock every month even if it's just one.

Sub would go if one absolutely has to
Otherwise, just save to have both. If you were considering a ceramic SD, my personal favorite, then it'd be a no brainer for the Sub to go. |

Based on what you said and for keeping a balance (1 diver - 1 GMT function): Sub.

Either will be easy to repurchase down the road but if one of them was your first Rolex sell the other.

I'd let the 114060 go. You can always pick it up again later.

Cheers guys,pretty much what I'm thinking,keep the ex 2.
I have a pan base I could move on too ,but I quite like it and the sub and seadweller are too much alike for me to keep both I'm thinking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bye SubC. Should be easy to replace. Gives you a diver in the SD and a rugged watch with GMT complication in the exp2.

Yeah was lovely, problem was I never wore it much, only around the house. I didn't fancy wearing it to the beach etc. That sounds silly about a watch that was bombproof when new but I suppose we 're all precious when it comes to vintage. The 16600 is a fantastic watch too and I'll be happy owning one of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

i wouldn't keep the explorer 2 because of the 3186....i'd just keep the one i like better.
that being said, i'd probably lean towards the 16570 for greater variety compared to an SD and submariner. |
