Yes, there's a thread from a while back detailing the MK1 and MK2 dial layouts mentioned here.

Looks like there's no space. I also noticed the spacing for the 'Oyster Perpetual Date'has changed slightly too in the newer models.

That's a correct dial. The space would be utterly unacceptable.

I notice it also... in my mind I call it the big O and small O .
The big O has space and the small O don't.
The O as in rOlex ..Rolex..
both is genuine .
From what I seen it's not a tell of newer or older. I am guessing mix factory prints.

Does this lettering can really tell when it was made? or there are some mixed up like there are close m to 300 during 2010-2016 or its completely nothing?
What im saying is if purchasing a watch with no warranty, can this be a good gauge on when was the watch was purchased?

When I was checking over my LV-C, which did not come to me from an AD, I discovered a lot of information about dial fonts and spacing. Google was my friend. There is (or at least was) a website with pictures of all the dials produced. Hours of fun browsing that. Have a Google.

Also using Google, I found a ton of threads, some in this forum containing pictures and information. A lot of people went to a lot of time and trouble to assemble quality information on this topic. It's out there and it's good stuff.

Been using google and didnt find much and thats why i found this thread. Im interested in this because i was trying to buy a hulk but the m is close to 300 which according to this topic is that its mid2016 up to now but the service manual that comes with the watch is old and tall not the typical shiny green booklet which you get nowadays.
Been browsing the sale area and its been consistent that 300m are all dated after 2016 ehile 300 m are dated before 2016. Thats why im wondering if the sellers watch is 2017 watch but the case and booklet are not really came from the watch but instead he just giving it away as a deal

Try also to take a look at the 1 (one) digit in 1000. A straigth line vs a more normal arabic 1 digit

You think this dial 300m is exclusive late 2016 and beyond?

Hulk dial variations.

https://100percentpassion.net/2017/0...116610lv-hulk/

The current MK3 from 2017 onwards with the long ft font and unequal = is the nicest looking in my opinion.

Thats correct and have so over the past 40 odd years and always will be tiny dial differences to most all Rolex watches.
