Harrods Black Bay Owners Club...

As we have other owners clubs, thought it might be fun to start one for the Tudors most recent and rare Harrods edition Black Bay... disclosing your number is optional...

I'll start off... one of the first 100...

Got a text and sent the Mrs to collect and size it - I've worn mine for 6 days now. Love it. It's heavy. And it's super accurate - no deviation since it was brought back from Harrods.

They won't have it labelled as a "limited" edition, bit rather a "special" edition. What I love about these is that they're under the radar (a "sleeper"), and the super accurate in-house movement.

I’m on the waiting list. Was told 1-2 years.
I now have the red one and a Bucherer but can’t find a nice strap for the latter.

Is “super accurate” Tudors answer to “superlative chronometer” or did you make it up?

If there is an issue with this in house movement is Tudor now repairing them or replacing them?

I like the watch but that snowflake hand is a love or hate thing.

Love mine. My favorite shade of green, combined with just a little touches of gold on the black dial...and the snowflake hands are a nice change up from all the mercedes hands in my collection. A total home run by Tudor, IMO.

I'll make a strong statement here. If the clasp had some sort of micro adjustment like the glide lock, or even the one found on the Pelagos, this could be a strong contender to be a one and only. There. I said it.

Nice to see you like this watch so much, Larry. And that is one of the best pictures of this model I've seen to date.

I’m sure others can testify as well but I’m finding the movement to be more accurate than the Rolex’s that I’ve got. Granted the Rolex’s are older and may need servicing versus the Tudor which is new but mine does not gain or lose seconds in the time I’ve had it hence the “super accurate” comment.

Mine says Hi,,,
Clasp on this piece and the gmt is the one thing that lets both watches down,,
Micro-adjustment would make a world of difference ,,,,

I just picked it up. Looks great but a little thicker than I expected. It’s my first black bay so maybe I’ll get used to it.

Mine is in the high 900s. There was another chap there picking his up and he got 88x (can’t remember his). They either had a big delivery or they’re handing them out pretty randomly.

I put my name down early December last year I think. I don’t have any previous watch purchases with harrods in case people thought that might be a factor.

That's cool. I have to agree with you on that. Huge congrats again on it, a well deserved wait moreso if you didn't have to followup. I don't trust waiting lists, they forget over time and the salespeople move on, with me anyway. lol. The hype's settled now that the production numbers are climbing not unlike what I've seen happen with the Pelagos LHD.

Anyone got a email address to the watch department in Harrods that deals with Tudor?
Ive browsed around the Harrods' website and got no luck so far.
