All three versions are beautiful. I'd seen a black and white in person and liked them both a great dea and figured I'd be happy with any of them. But then I saw the blue in person and it's on another level. It's worth waiting for if that's the one you want.

I called RSC Dallas and NYC. They will not change out a SkyD dial for another, not even PM. Only DJ at this time they were explicit. I don’t understand it or like but it is the policy.

The more I look at photos the more I am falling in love with the white face. My wife also prefers the white face. There is something very clean about it. Also, I am an attorney so there are days like right now where I am wearing flip flops and shorts and days like tomorrow when I'll be in a suit. I think the white faces dresses up better IMO for those occasions that are not so casual.

Since the money was wired Friday I am expecting to receive it sometime this week.

Crazy!? Absolutely. But this is the game we all have to play now. I know several AD VIPs that waited years for their blue dial sky-D, and some that are still waiting. Myself, my ADs wouldn’t even put me on the list for it lol.

So yeah, unfortunately you get that call for a white dial sky-d, there’s a lot to consider. Is the situation crazy? Yes. But it’s not crazy to consider buying it and then looking into your options, whether it’s an immediate upgrade to the blue or just keeping it, or keeping it till another opportunity presents itself.

I can unequivocally state that I am happier with the white face than I would have been with the blue. I intend to use as my “dressier” watch. It has worked flawlessly today with my charcoal grey Canali suit.

Thanks for all your input.

Congratulations! I am also currently waiting for my Blue SkyD. I’ve seen all 3 dials and the way the light beautifuly plays off the Blue dial, to me, was no contest compared to the others.

Based on my colour charts the blue would have been a better choice.

Congrats on watch. Blue was my first choice as well. However, I found white and bought it. 6 months later I picked up blue. Honestly, after having both for 6 months I prefer the white. Enjoy!

There is no right or wrong choice of color on the SS Sky Dweller. Grab whatever is available and be contented with it.

All of the dial options are good and it is personal preference over another dial being lesser.
I really like my Sky-Dweller and the white dial is my preference for versatility as I own a lot of black dial and blue dial watches.

Seriously. The main "Rolex General Discussion" threads frequently reflect the SS fever that has gripped so many.

I think you should wait if that's want you mos desire for. You going to end up selling the white and buy blue. However, that said I like the white dial better on the sky .

I just took off the SD and put on my Batman for the rest of the day since I am home now and going to be relaxing and preparing a prime rib.

I have to say the GMT II feels a lot lighter and less substantial than the SD. The SD really is a beefy watch in a very nice and subtle way. Also, the white face compliments a suit or sport coat very nicely. I now fully appreciate just how casual and not dressy at all the GMT II is.

Get what you want, but if I were you, I’d go put the white dial SkyD on your wrist and see if it doesn’t make you fall in love.

I put one on once and could barely take it off because it swooned me over. Regret not buying it.

Curious. That run's contrary to views expressed by more senior members on TRF. Unsurprising that the answer is ambiguous as different members get different answers from RSCs!
