Flip flops

So lots of thread on sneakers (which I’m a huge Jordan fan and collector) and dress shoes. However in summer months i pretty much live in flip flops.
Usually buy whatever is on sale with brands like reef etc. Finally broke down and spent some dough on some Olukai flips
Look great and highly reviewed so looking forward to wearing them in Florida in a couple weeks. Super comfy already
Anyone out there love any specific brands?

I like Rainbow flip flops, leather, rubber sole, don’t hold odor like all rubber flip flops

No flip flops here. Hate the way they feel. Boat shoes for me in the summer months.

Croc flips flops, had for years super comfy. Wear them all the time in the summer

Reef flips are also pretty good, got a couple of pairs.

Croc clogs. Love them. Look like a cracker jack in them, but really comfy and warm. Don't wear them out and about. Mainly for pottering around the house or the garden

I can’t either Bas. I need shoes on. Too afraid to have something fall on my toes.

Not sure if you’re joking but I wear white socks with my sandals when I run to the corner store.

It makes for an impression.

Only at home, I live in an Asian household. It sucks putting shoes and socks on and off all day long as I come in and out of the house.

Rainbows for my entire life. My dad wore them in the 70s and 80s long before they were popular. Very fond memories of going surfing with him and stopping by the rainbow “factory” really a shack in san Clemente where my dad would buy sandals for all his fire fighter buddies.

I agree. In Florida we keep shoes on when going into homes. In Canada the culture dictates taking them off at the front door, even in our own home. I really don’t like that and find it difficult. I prefer wearing shoes in my house.

I once got flamed for saying I didn't like flip flops. The hardos rolled in with "I wear my old dirty flip flops to the Patek boutique to buy grand complications, clothes don't matter, I get plenty of respect in my cargo shorts, etc."

But my stance hasn't changed. I'd wear flip flops at a beach or a public shower only

I never understood why anyone would want a bottle opener on their flip flops. I don't want anything I walk on (or in) on the mouth of my beer bottle.

My feets is like my wife, very sensitive.

I prefer to use a steel cap, so flip flops are completely excluded.

Who knows, but I rarely use that feature.

Men should only wear flip flops in three places. 1. Beach 2. Pool 3. Public shower

Besides not flattering, they are plain bad for your feet to use for long periods of time. Absolutely no arch support, the rubber material strips the oils off my soles and makes them dried out. No thanks.

I like heel straps on my sandals so the heel doesn’t drag. I have Xero, Luna, and Bedrock specifically. Bedrocks are the most robust, Xero gives the most ground feel. The Bedrocks and Lunas have both been used for hiking, excellent for that. All of them love the beach!

"rarely"? So you admit having the remnants of a dog egg on your beer bottle is a small price to pay for that malty goodness inside? We've all been there. A trapped beer is no good to anyone

I had a friend offer me the use of his flipflop beer bottle opener on the beach one day, I not so politely refused. He's the kind of guy who scuffs through the puddle of pee in the bathroom rather than stepping over it.

I think you are mistaken about where I walk. You act as if my feet touch unclothed ground.

In that case I have to ask why your staff would dare to give you an unopened beer?

You need to make an example out of one of them.....possibly using the flip flop.
