18k Day date on Ebay , fungus ?

Neither do I....the end pieces are badly fitting, the day is not centered in the window, the magnification does not appear x 2.5 and the desc claims this watch is made between 1940 and 1969???

Yes I ,should have mentioned that . He claims that it was checked out by a reputable Rolex dealer in Paris . That guy could easily have told him by the serial what year it was made , or at least a bit more accurately the 30 years span .
