B for me. Such a beautiful dial and amazing set of complications with the chronograph and annual calendar.

5990 does nothing for me - I far prefer the 5980. And that 5960 is neither here or there, it's awkwardly stuck between being a dress and sporty piece.

Nicely stated.

In addition, are you looking for sporty or dressy?

Thanks guys. You've been very helpful.
To follow up, I do prefer kind of dress / sport types of watches. As an example the AP diver which I have would be one, but I got AP ROC which is very similar so I am thinking of letting one go. That is why I thought 5990 would be ideal. I do like the others, but I hate taking a watch off every time I need to wash hands and I do lead an active life style with kids and so on.

Yeah, near impossible to get 5711 at retail. I like the 5990 out of all the choices.

B or if you have smaller wrist C. The 5990 layout I find busy unless you will use the GMT function for travel.

I may be neater when I wash my hands - I don't remove any of my watches unless I am washing my wrist and/or forearms.

One can choose to pay the price or not but no one has to wait 10 years.

In the end wouldn't it be far cheaper than purchasing for the sake of purchasing?

I guess I'm all alone preferring the 5960. The combination of an annual calendar and a 12 hour chronograph make it much more useful and I believe more visually appealing than the other two.

B has my vote. But I would expect that there would be at least a second watch in rotation.

Advice Part II

It's now mostly between A and B, but it appears many would choose neither, so what would be your recommendation for up to $80k U.S. The only stipulation is that it can be worn almost every day although I do have others.

I think that B is super sharp. C looks a bit funny to me with red hands. Somehow not very Patek-like, with a very busy dial.

It so happens that I can get 5905P before I can get 5990 even though I would prefer the other way around. But I don't think it matters all that much.

i saw the 5960G a few days ago in the patek salon in paris. it is too thick for me but so are your other choices. if i really have to choose between those three watches (which i wouldn't) i'd go for the nautilus.

A bit late to the party but that's exactly what I would have gone for. Well chosen, congratulations.
