Would this be an fair trade? 4500V/110A-B483 for me and a 114060+216570 for the other party? Would i be a fool to do this? Opinions?? Help?? I like the VC a lot.. It is still quite under the radar too..

I think it's fair trade if all of the watches are in similar condition.

I love my VCO however my Sub is pretty much my daily so that would be a hard one to give up for me. If you feel the numbers add up the Overseas will not dissapoint.

I think that is a fair trade, both parties would do well if those are the watch(es) they desire.

I personally like the VC over those 2 Rolex.

Setting “investment” potential aside, I think it is a reasonable trade. Especially if you like the VC. I think you should really like it and want it though...for better or worse, the VC is not as widely desirable to the masses as the Rolexes.

The trade is basically this: your workhorse Rolexes for high horology VC refinement. Good stuff on both sides. Best wishes!

If you really love the overseas sure. My opinion no, I liked the overseas when it was trading well below sticker but not at current prices.

...on paper and based on current market values its a fair trade, but as the owner of those watches and still being a fan of the overseas line I would say F no. It's about how a watch makes you feel and how it speaks to you, if you don't feel those emotions with your Rolex and the VC does, then go for it but for me its hard "hell no".

I know its probably difficult but I would save up and make it my third sports piece for the perfect sport trio. I'm personally speculating watch prices will crash soon and there will be many opportunities to pick up a pre-owned Overseas for great prices, if I told you how much I could have paid for a blue overseas over a year ago you wouldn't believe..

This is the perfect sports trio IMO, personally with some color on either the sub or VC. Very nice collection.

But for black and silver maybe.

If you're wanting to go to a one watch collection, the VC would do nicely and this is currently probably somewhat of a fair trade. Personally, however, I'd rather have the two Rolexes and I think they will retain their value better in the future. It wasn't that long ago that the Overseas blue dial could be had easily for a substantial discount while the Rolexes have always been relatively popular and were discounted much less.

Perhaps and I wouldn't be surprised, but this "boutique only blue" businesses is getting real old with the brands. I was thinking pre-owned as far as pricing.

If you make that trade I would be very sure the VC is a keeper.

The VCO is the much nicer and more versatile watch. Not sure why people keep beating the value retention drum. OP likely will already have benefitted from a significant value increase on the two Rolexes, which will effectively enable him to get a high horology piece at a deep discount. I would do it and get off the beaten path.
