Now this is going to be fun!!! I'd imagine there will be many who will claim I've insulted Rolex and committed a major crime but when I saw this come up at auction, I just couldn't resist. It's not going to be my everyday watch but I'll wear it for a bit of fun out for dinner or when visiting friends who love watches as much as I do. I know I will struggle getting it serviced as RSCs won't touch it but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. The PVD may also wear off over time and look horrible but I'm sure there may be options down the road.
I just love skeletonised watches and to see the 4130 movement doing its work is truly amazing. So you can hate it or love it. I love it :-)

I like the skeleton look, I’ve seen some on other Daytona’s. Not so much the PVD.

Kudos for you buying what you like and want, respect the hell out of it as that’s who I am... in this sea of modern offerings and hype, traditionalists its amazing to see some of these unique offerings out there.. they always find a good home, enjoy it in good health

Without the PVD would be interesting to see. Someone put a lot of work into that. Daytona of the Dead. Black PVD is actually totally appropriate!

This is shocking to see. But ultimately it’s about what makes you happy. I would equate this as taking a Picasso and adding additional modern artistic touches to it.

Its like getting an original gullwing benz and blacking it out. To each's own, I imagine you already have a substantial collection. If you like tattoos I'm interested in the ink you have.
