Do I think 16710 is worth the 6000 price tag that the market seems to demand for them at the moment even for a beat-up T<25 tritium model? Absolutely not.

Reading this great review for the 1st time in 2020 and this specific part hurts

Worth is a relative concept. Is a modern Daytona ’worth’ the 25k some people are willing to fork out. Is any Rolex really worth the price?

Oh yes. The prices have gotten crazy. I think there might even be a bubble now. I wouldn't use that world lightly with Rolex but 16710 production numbers are very high.

I don't mind the prices increasing but on the other hand I don't get any benefit from it, either. Not going to sell mine anyway. Cheers.
