“Ambient Music” recommendations

I love music from artists such as biosphere... or pop’s gas album... Pop is the artist... not a category. Can anyone recommend good ambient music by which you relax or fall asleep.. ?

Biosphere Substrata is among my favs but it’s pretty well known amongst ambient circles.

Brian Eno Ambient 1: Music for Airports and Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks. It has been many years since I listened to them, but I remember them fondly.

Adagio movements from classical pieces.

There are compilations on Amazon.

Some look down on these types of compilations because the movments are extracted from the larger pieces, but I'm a classical music fan who enjoys listening to the full compositions and I also enjoy the relaxing mood that these extracted movements provide.

All of those are great suggestions. Amazon prime has a good selection of playlists. I do feel they are pretty limited so i suck it up and pay for another subscription.

Sirius XM has channel 53 (chill) and their Spa station that are pretty relaxing.

An ambient album that I've enjoyed many times is called Connect.Ohm 9980

If you want to listen to a dark-ambient track, one that will make you question the existence of forces and powers of the many different levels of what we call life, listen to this:

I'll often simply google and use "spa music" to relax the mode....

This reminds me of Pop Gas but I like it.

Thanks also to everyone for replying. I like Brian end but his music keeps,me awake. It’s not well produced and the mix is a bit horrendous for his airport release, to me.

Honestly, I can’t fall asleep to music ... it makes my head spin even more.

An air conditioner perhaps, as long as the noise is constant but not overbearing

No idea if it even qualifies but I listen to Pandora the xx radio in the background all the time when I’m hanging around the house. Very chill.

I have ambient music on all day and just use a playlist on an old ipod with an amazon player. Keeps the dogs quiet.

Runs about 12 hours a day.

So far there are about 4 days of songs (1400 songs), mostly "new age" stuff. It's my coma music playlist.

I always need to have playlists because I don't like to listen to one artist for any number of songs but need to mix it up.

Wow for how many time you have been selecting 1400 songs? very nice!
Me instead I like to listen music when I sleep, usually is neutral one, such with frequencies or something

It runs every day for 10-12 hours, I end up repeating a song every 8 days. Something like that. Every few months I'll add a new album or 3.
