What do I do??

Hi All, I’m looking to get into a brand new Tudor Black Bay 58 or a Omega Seamaster Pro with the blue dial. Both with the bracelet. I can’t decide! Lol

Both are fine watches which will serve you well the rest of your life. Best to try on in person and see what speaks to you.

BB58 is a much smaller watch. Depends on what you like on your wrist.

I have a BB58 and love it on my small wrist.

Both are good, visit AD, try them on, pick the one that sings to you.

Go with the Planet Ocean 43.5, or at least put the Seamaster and PO side by side. I love my PO!!

Try them on and decide.

I would personally get the Omega over the Tudor BlackBay 58.

Do you have or plan on getting any other Omega or Tudor Models? I like to spread my collection out to different brands and would make a strategic choice based on this. Others stick to one brand. YMMV.

1. go try both and see which one you like
2. call your wife and tell her that you are about to make a purchase
3. pull out a credit card with most % back or miles on your favorite airline.
4. enjoy

Great choices! You cannot go wrong with either.

Yeah tough choice. I don't have the BB58, so I'd have to lean that way. Hard to go wrong though.

What do I do??

Imagine you bought one (either one) and then imagine how you would feel that you can’t own the one you didn’t get. Then flip your choices around and see what kind of emotional response you get and maybe that will help you determine which one you really want.

But if you want the opinion of a stranger I would say Omega all day over BB58.

I’d be looking at Grand Seikos in this price range. Like a snowflake or another stainless bracelet model

Omega. Tudor’s are nice but Omega’s movements are higher quality and have superior fit and finish.

Your money is burning a hole in your pocket and you not ready to buy an expensive watch, especially if your asking a bunch of strangers.

Hold on to your money until such time as you are certain of which watch you not only want, but absolutely must have.

You are obviously torn to the point that you cannot decide.

Get both. That works!

Thank you all for the responses! Really appreciate it. I’m now also thinking about the Tudor Pelagos with the blue dial

I would go with the Omega as well if your wrist can pull it off. But don't buy at retail price!

SMP is amazing value

But too big for my taste and the BB58 is the perfect size and almost perfect

Thank you all again for your input...Went to the Omega boutique in Boca yesterday and walked out with this! I purchased my Speedmaster there last year as well. The level of service, the experience of a purchase at a boutique for a watch I’ll have forever (not a flipping this one at all) is worth the premium. I was able to work about a small discount and also got a limited edition Speedmaster 50th Anniversary pen!

Congrats . The new SMP is a fantastic watch. It would have been my choice too.
