I feel like there is a lot of snobbery when it comes to Tudor, some people are more concerned that it isn't a Rolex which is a shame as Tudor make some very good watches for their price range. I have 1 of each and enjoy both equally

if that is the “new” Tudor Sub, as predicted by RPR, then someone in the design studio may have gotten a bit slap happy...

I have a BBN (ETA) and a Tudor Sub. My wife has a Ranger. All get wrist time. My BBN is more accurate than all of our Rolexes. Great watches, built tough, look awsome, comfortable. Room for Tudor in any collection.

After having spoken with my Rolex AD today I am going to look more at Tudor.

The whole Rolex debacle is a bit of a joke now, I am no longer their target audience. Producing watches only the ‘special’ few can obtain regardless of loyalty to the brand. 5 year + waiting lists for anything that’s not precious metal if the list is still open.....unless you pay half as much again through a grey dealer.

My AD actually managed to put me off the brand even though I think he thought he was marketing it

I only hope Tudor don’t get into introducing new models with waiting lists that are ridiculous, I fear it will happen as more people turn off Rolex due to inability to actually obtain watches.

At least the waiting lists won’t be long this year looking at the leaks of what Rolex are releasing

I love them.

I’ve got a bbb and thc and couldn’t be happier, emotionally or fiscally.

To me, Tudor today is what Rolex was 25yrs ago. And that’s a good thing.

Still a Rolex fan, but not a disciple.

I started with Tudor by a chance. I was at the Rolex boutique to pick a gmt blro saw the Tudor gmt and took that one instead, Put an order on the Rolex SD 43 and left. I’m still in honeymoon phase with this stunning modern-retro-designed GMT.
I don’t see Tudor as Rolex little brother, I see it as Rolex stylish brother, the intellectual one, the artistic one.

What so you think of Tudor? Pros&cons? How well is Tudor working in a collection?

This is exactly what I wanted to convey in my response to the OP. My god this is hilarious. But the Rolex is not that antiquated, I don't agree on that but fully with you on the Tudor.

Tudor is great.

To really get a feel for the relationship you have to go vintage. Pickup a blue 79190 (or black if your want to save money); it looks and feels like a preceramic sub but it says Tudor on the dial.

From there the new Tudor watches are fantastic. You get a lot for your 4k usd. The only con is they don't hold value like their bigger brother. You can easily fine one pre-owned for 2.5k usd...I'd go this route at first just to make sure you like it so you can flip out of it with minimal loss.

I love the Pelagos and Black Bay. I’d love to try the Black Bay Bronze at some point
