This is one seriously robust and unusual watch which won’t appeal to everyone thankfully!
This rubber strap works just fine(sorry I can’t post links yet) : watch gecko Zulu Diver vintage tropical style.

Another user posted pics of it on this thread.

I bought it and it looks great on the P01!

Don’t need photoshop. Look on page 6 of this thread. Someone put a mesh on a P01. Looks great!

I'm trying to figure out what they made the long end of the strap on the 12 instead of the 6 like it should be?

Aesthetically, I prefer the end to be pointed away.

Anyone else agree?

Great thanks even more impressed with the strap which seems to have survived it's dunking in my cup of coffee this morning. I had the bright idea of taking a picture of it resting on top of my coffee cup.

Official Tudor P-01 Owners Thread

I tried it on. It looked awkward on my wrist though. In person, you can tell the build quality is exceptional. I like the lack of embellishment on the dial, the bidirectional bezel, and the way the lugs integrated the case with the leather strap. I think if they got the proportions right (which is hard to do with the locking mechanism), it would have been an all around winner

Here it is next to my BBB ETA for comparison. The added length of the lugs are very noticeable.

Was looking in my Tudor AD window nothing new on show, but I popped in anyway and asked if they had a P01 in stock.
They had 2 delivered yesterday! Had to buy it!
This was an hour ago at Ernest Jones Milton Keynes.
If anyone has it on their radar if you’re quick and live nearby you might get lucky and get the other one!

Congrats to all the new owners.

I've been wearing the heck out of mine and it's starting to show on the leather. I finally put my BLNR back on my wrist yesterday and to tell you the truth it's kind boring; I'll be switching back to the P01 by the end of the day. Truthfully I miss playing with the locking mechanism...it's very relaxing to play with for some reason.

The best analogy I can come up with is the following.

The BLNR hot girlfriend that is terrible in bed.

The P01 is her thicker (but still attractive) sister that is the tasmanian devil in bed.

I don't think I need to mention who I'd pick;)

HI,

The crown at 4pm position doesn't bother me at all. It is one of the unique design features.

As far as digging in, actually the opposite. It's positioned there so as not too dig in. Comfortable watch if you have the wrist for it.

Good luck and post pics of you buy it.

I don’t think it’s designed for big wrists, the curve on the buckle is ideal for my 7 and a quarter wrist

Playing around making a new strap for it yesterday, destressed leather and red stitching to match the red text. Fairly pleased with the result.

How did you manage to get this to not rise up on the nato?

I tried and the ends links dont sit properly and always rise up on the wrist

Sorry only just seen this.

I always wear a nato using the Australian method so only one strap goes under the watch. It worked for a while and then I adjusted the watch and the lugs rose up. I then had to fiddle about with it to get it flat. I hope this makes sense.

I use the single pass method and found it keeps rising up aswell. If you ever find a permanent fix please do share

New Owner Checking in.
Put my name down for this when it was released, due to delays in its release I ended up getting a Hulk from my AD. This blew my budget for 2019 so I asked her to skip me when it came in.

Discussing my watch budget with the bank manager (aka my wife) this week, we decided it might be worth asking to be put on the list again. Walked into my AD and she surprised me with having one in stock. Needless to say i am now a proud owner.

Really pleased with the P01! Great wrist presence, look is industrial and goes well with casual attire. Reminds me of my GP America's Cup Sea Hawk a little.

Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased the P01 I love it. I do have a question for all, even though it hosts the MT5612, the same as the Pelagos, and not MT5652 as the GMT, has anyone experience this same issue with the P01 or Pelagos as that in the GMT with the date sticking?

I do believe I read there was a case of this somewhere, however the only thing I have noticed is that the date does not change at 12:00:00 but instead at 4 min past.
I have read that this is common? Some change a few min before and some after.
Any input on this from anyone?
