Budget Car - purchased

Final update on the car purchase

Ended up looking at 3 x VW Polo 1.4 GTs. All 3 had marks/ stone chips I’d have had to fix. Guy I work with said he’d heard VW had changed the way paint applied & more modern VWs have softer paint. Not sure how true that is. Test drive a 1 year old 1.0 tsi but was a bit expensive for what I was looking for

Ideally wanted a Honda Jazz si to replace my existing Jazz but few & far between for a low mileage nice one

Spotted this - Toyota Yaris. It’s a 1.5 so quite nippy. A 2018 model & just turned 9k. 1 owner/ FSH/ Sat nav etc. Picked it up last week & v happy. Hopefully I’ll get lucky with the Toyota reliability

Thanks all for the input earlier in month

Congratulations, Toyota makes great motor vehicles.

I don’t think there was a bad option in your research. But this Toyota needs a TRD exhaust and racing stripes.

Big congratulations. Those are good cars.
My brother's wife has one and they love it. They live in a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark and it suits all their needs for city and traveling.

That's one sweet ride. Great end to the hunt. You should get many years of good motoring with that one.

You won't regret buying the Yaris. I've got over 50k miles on my 2016 Corolla with nary a hiccup. Consistant 30-32 mpg.
