All conjecture, but not sure I agree that those not listening to SARSAT "won't be much help." If something were to be operational, that would likely be it. Or perhaps we've all watched too many Hollywood movies

Pretty sure there will be plenty of zombified Rolex & Tudor watch owners lumbering around.

We are free to rip the watches off their cold, dead, rotting hands.

What use do the walking dead have for time anyway?

With their shrivelled up limbs, the bracelets will need resizing too.

its all around ruggedness also a plus.

first circumstance I have chosen this watch over my sub.

Probably my 114060, the things a tank and very legible in quick situations. Daytona would feel more comfortable but maybe less practical.

Something with no maintenance and no disposable battery, a solar or kinetic quartz perhaps, steel or titanium, no plastic.

Once Rolex marketing completely eats your brain a grey market Daytona usually is the go to.

It's not safe to wear Rolex to a Zombie Apocalypse so probably this.

My 16613 has done me well so far. Don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t during a zombie apocalypse as well.

Zombie Apocalypse hits - which one watch do you want on your wrist?

I’d go with this. Solar powered. Will run forever.

I don’t know about an Apple Watch. Would we have electricity and cell phone service during a Zombie Apocalypse????
