Your grail offered at MSRP. What's there to discuss?

You'll never get it at a bigger discount than from and AD at MSRP but if the financials are causing hesitation it's probably best not to jump onto the hook.

If your hind brain is trying to tell you something it is worth doing a reality check. IMO checking if the 12LV will be available new below MRSP is not a reality. But what do I know?

Thks so much everyone — the avalanche of common sense, ‘don’t be a fool’ e-mails has pushed me (far) over the line. I’m going to grab the watch! Will be in touch with some post- pics!

If you have to ask this question to a bunch of strangers; you are in the wrong place. Go buy a Casio and build your savings.

Completely get your reasoning. Secondary supply of existing LVs may pull below par given supply. Still, I think if you want a new bird from AD who you share a good relationship with, taking it down is a good call. I don’t think we will see discount scenarios from AD in general in the shorter horizon still

Congrats brother

That’s the right decision. Especially if it’s your Grail. Number 2 or below on your list? Yeah still buy it. I just know if my Grail was in SS I’d not think twice. PM which mine is? Maybe more consideration

I do not think you’ll see that below MSRP anytime soon. Maybe never. Buy it.

Is this thread for real? You’re thinking of passing on a LV? It’s like passing on a BLNR or BLRO…

Never going to happen - you are blessed to get it at retail. Go for it if you love it.

Do you live on Mars? I think you should demand a 25% discount or just wait a month or two and you can buy it for 1/2 off MSRP from a grey dealer.

If/when Rolex starts being discounted at ADs, I would guess SS sports models would be the last for that to happen.

Good call on grabbing the watch. When was the last time a SS sub was under retail? 10 plus years ago?

Just when it seemed like this nonsense was stopping here it goes again. I am thinking it is time for me to get off this site. I regret clicking on 75 percent of the posts...between these value posts and the fake vintage posts on the vintage forum.

If you are questioning spending money on this watch, then don’t buy it. It’s not a limited edition. I wouldn’t think this will be found under MSRP ever.

If you have the means to buy now from an AD, I would definitely recommend doing so. It's a watch you want and you're buying from the best possible source at the best possible price in today's market. One should never say never but discounts on the desirable models aren't likely in the foreseeable future.

I got my 2009 for 5k out the door, not sure what discounts you are thinking of. Pretty sure that ship sailed quiet a while ago.
