mvcca,
Very normal. I wouldn't worry about it as bracelets stretch a little over time. It adds character to the watch and unless you simply cannot live with it, I'd leave it alone and wear it with pride. Nice 16613. Congrats on the purchase. |

There's some play there, but certainly has life left. Keep it clean and enjoy. Congrats!

Michael Young and classicwatchrepair.com
I sent my 18k gold and stainless steel jubilee band to Michael's company in July. The repaired band was just returned. It took about 5 weeks. I am really pleased so far. His work seems fantastic!

Looks good, but if it starts ripping the hair out of your forearm :), MY is the way to go. His work was amazing. The links on my 93150 were not just stretched, some of the metal was worn away at the corners. Still turned out great. Still feels like new.

Gold is softer than SS, so the TT bracelets will stretch over time, more so than a SS bracelet. Nice 16613!

Well known on TRF as an individual that can tighten up the bracelet. Very affordable compared to replacement costs of a bracelet. Try a search and you'll find examples of his work. I'm sure you could track him down through TRF as well.
To the OP, bracelet has some stretch but you're years away from having it malfunction. Plus, I'm sure it's super comfortable as it is now! |

Its not band stretch its band wear what happens if not kept clean the grit grime from wearing get between the screw pins and elongate the holes but in can be repaired with guys like Michael Young, but Rolex themselves will not do it.

If you go to my first post (click on link) I just got back my bracelet from Michael young. If you want to see some before and after pictures. He did a wonderful job. Took about 5 weeks as well. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=406145

Peter, you say that an RSC will not repair a bracelet so if an owner wants the issue addressed at time of service would Rolex offer the option to replace the bracelet or just basically tell the owner that they are out of luck? I ask because I have not yet experienced an issue with a bracelet but will ostensibly at some point and I'm curious what options would exist at that time if I opt to send the piece to an RSC for service. |
