What's next... Lost
Not able to make up my mind for my next purchase. Need some advice here please. My current collection is GMT C, no date Sub (114060), Daytona white dial (116520), explorer (2015). All watches over 40mm are out except for the DJ41 since it's not actually over 40.
Thanks. Sent from my iPhone X using Tapatalk

You've got SS covered (unless add an LVc?). Either go PM Rolex or go to another brand.

Sorry, forgot, no PM for me, only SS. Was considering the AP RO 37 lately but wasn't sure. Sent from my iPhone X using Tapatalk

I'd go out to another brand at this point, unless you want to swap your Daytona for a ceramic version. Rolex really kills it with their SS professional models, all of which you own - I wouldn't buy a DJ/DD/OP since there are so many similar style options in that price range that give you more bang for your buck. But again, I'd fall on the "watch side" of the spectrum, rather than the "Rolex guy" side.

LVc? Also, if changes to the current collection are possible, maybe GMT C for a BLNR. Then you'd have what I would consider my ultimate collection of SS professional models!

Who says there has to be a next purchase?
Honestly, you're going about it all wrong. You don't need another watch...unless you fall in love with something and can't live without it. And at that point, you won't have to ask us. |

Probably not what you want to hear, but it sounds like you are buying for the sake of buying. If there isn't a watch that you are lusting over, don't go looking for one.
Just my .02 cents. |

good problem to have. Just save money and don't buy.
Most other people's issue is the opposite, knowing what to buy but either can't find one or having funding issue |

You won't be lost if you get a DJ41.
Good luck selecting just one! |

What is wrong with getting a DJ41? A dressy example with fluted bezel on oyster or jubilee?

DJ41 for sure. Blue dial.
I went oyster and smooth bezel, but there's not a bad configuration of this watch. Either that or if go with a different brand. |

Your collection has a lot of modern sports pieces. I would go vintage. Maybe a Pepsi? You could probably use a dressy watch too. Maybe sell 2 of the 3 black faced modern sports watches and put that money, and the money you’d spend on a new watch, towards a Lange or Patek?
Don’t buy for the sake of it though. The watch won’t mean as much to you as it would if you were really passionate about the purchase. |
