WG vs SS

Maybe I'm the loner here , but does anyone else share my thoughts that WG looks like SS, or close to it ? Only when I pick up a WG watch and feel the weight do I know it's not stainless.

Some people prefer to fly below the radar with a watch that only they (and watch enthusiats) would know is WG or Platinum.

Theyre quite a bit different when you get to seeing them in the metal.

Take the BLRO as an example. Very few people talked about it until it was available again in SS now it’s going to be a best seller

WG vs SS

Color hue is different when compare side by side with SS, as shown here (from another thread on same subject, SS clasp in the center, left and right are WG)

I would think 99.99% of the population think they look the same. And they'd be broadly correct (this is coming from a WG owner).

Random thought: I wish Rolex made WG/RG TT Yachtmasters . . . for the added heft and private satisfaction of a gold TT watch that flies under the radar.
