Rolex Sea-Dweller 126600 Rare In Stock?
Are these rare to find instock at AD's? I was under the impressions that there was a waiting list, but happened to see one in the case at my AD over the weekend...

Heck, any steel model is rare these days at an AD.
But that one...yeah. My AD got a grand total of one last year. |

It depends on the size of the AD.

Yesterday I tried on a 126600 and a James Cameron at an AD. Wasn’t that impressed with either.

I feel sorry for the above posted who posted about the availability of an SD43 at their ADs... I expect their PM inboxes to be flooded!

My AD called me to ask if I wanted a SD 43, I turned it down. I am on the list for a SSSD, But it was nice of them to call. I am sure they will have it sold in short order.

None of the three ads in melb australia has any sd43. And you cannot get on their list either.

I got mine in three months at an AD. I was on waiting lists in four different places, but luckily got it from the one nearest me.

founds mine the first time i walk to my AD, they had it in the back, i asked if i could see it. and they did show it to me. i week later i bought the watch..as it took me a week to decide since i wanted to buy the TT sub, i got side tracked by all the hype on the internet about the rare SD43.
i don t regret, i really like the watch. |

The only time I've ever seen one at an AD was because the first guy on their list, who had put a deposit down on the watch, backed out last minute. I happened to be in there that same afternoon by chance. Thought the watch was great in person, nice proportions.

These are all over the map.
Reports from various locations have them sitting in display cases...read for take with purchase. Other locations have long, long waiting lists. An AD I spoke to in a fairly small and remote location told me the Daytona (Black dial) to SD43 ratio was 4:1 since last summer in favor of the Daytona in terms of watches delivered. They have only had (2) SD43 since release last year. Perhaps the stores with one in stock got theirs and since they don't have waiting lists, they went into to case... Idk what to think about this reference in terms of availability |

Just because you saw one doesn’t mean it is not rare.
