I got mine in November from an AD. Have seen nothing but wait lists since.

Depends on location and history with dealer. I was put on waitlist back in September or so, got a call less than 6 weeks later from the two local ADs that it was mine. No history with either, figure I was lucky and in the right place at the right time.

Why are we not sharing when these come available at AD's? Can we make a sub section for this? There a problem with that and AD's not willing to ship? Makes sense to me if TRF were to do that, win/win for us and AD's!

Would you share your lead? I'm in CA, but travel to Honolulu/Portland/Seattle regularly. Thanks in advance!

I haven’t seen any here in my area but that doesn’t mean any haven’t come and gone. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen much of any professional models in SS lately

If you see one on display on a AD let me know I will buy in that moment and give you $ 100 cash

Back , around May, I was in Las Vegas, walked into an AD...he had just gotten in 3 so I picked it up. Sold it later in the year but put my name on some lists afterwards because I decided, I really like the watch. Just got a call last night that it arrived........I think SS Sport watches are starting to be shipped again by Rolex. Seemed, for months, no ADs had any SS Sport models.

I had a chance to buy one yesterday through a friend who is a VIP at an AD. That said, it required wiring the money to my friend ... have him use his credit card to make the purchase ... and then having his name on the warranty card.

I declined due to the name on the warranty card issue. Maybe a minor point, but felt strange having someone else's name on the paperwork for what would be my watch.

Anyway, still looking. I live in Asia in a large city that has easily 20 Rolex ADs. The only stainless steel model I've been able to find in any of them is the YM2 ...

Once you remove the watch from the box, and put all the paperwork in your safe, you won't care one bit who's name is on the warranty card and most likely will never look at it again until you are ready to sell it.

Tried one on at a grey yesterday, who was asking a ridiculous price.

Sent a message to my sales guy at an AD that doesn't maintain a waitlist for anything except the Daytona - first come first serve when they come in, telling him that I wanted one.

Less than 24 hours later, I got the call that one had just come in. Snapped it up pronto.

Moral of the story is, keep trying, you never know when you may get lucky!

As I have suggested to others, give it time. Don't make a rash flip-it decision after a week or two like others on here have done. I was teetering for a few weeks, then got more comfortable with it, now absolutely love it. The SD43 is a truly special watch. You'll understand after a month or two.

This is a great point. It took me about 7-10 days to get used to it. Now love it.

Perhaps the stores with one in stock got theirs and since they don't have waiting lists, they went into to case...

Idk what to think about this reference in terms of availability
I basically experienced the whole map. Called or visited a dozen ADs and got on a few waiting lists one with a deposit others wouldn’t even put me on the list but I found one without a list and got the call inside of 2 weeks. Absolutely love it.

Mine was only the second my AD has ever had.
I got on the preferred customer list due to our purchase of my wife’s watch a few months ago (and the fact he knows I am not a flipper).

I love my SD43!
