RO blue dial SS perpetual calendar at selfridges

In case anyone cares, Selfridges has this watch on display. I have never actually seen it in the UK and on display ever before... just a heads up if anyone is in the market for one

that is about the last time before today i was there, so sounds about right. It does look nice and they do have both. Ive seen the RG at several AD's previously though and the SS white dial last year, once. Never the blue dial in SS

Assuming we are talking about the standard RG PC and not the LE?

It wasn't the Latin America version. Is that what you are talking about?

Didn’t think it would be but had to ask! I know it was reported for the Latin American market only but it just states LE on the AP site and you can click on ‘show price’ and it’s listed as recommend public price in Great Britain of £88,500

if they dont sell out right away, im sure they will sell them in other markets. I prefer the blue dial though.

Blue dial is nice but most admit anything in a SS RO case will be lost on me with now having the 15407.

Personally I would like to see a better availability of the Ce PC or a Pt/Ti version released next year and either one would be a worthy addition.

Damn you wouldn’t know they were so available here. I asked about one at the Miami boutique last month and the guy was a total prick. Apparently I was inconveniencing him.

True but legally us UK residents must declare it on return and pay VAT!

I recall when it was first launched the blue SS Perpetual was a hot model and collecfors couldn't get their hands on it. Now apparently less so.

thats why its notable, in the UK at least. It was not that long ago my AD told me flat out, they couldn't get one. But, at this price level im guessing the strong demand has gone down since launch as its not a huge market to begin with.

I feel that the demand has been slashed by the announcement of the RD2 at SIHH. Many deciding to wait and see what becomes of that. I noticed a handful come on the market preowned as well right after that announcement.

It would be nice if the ceramic followed suit but I have doubts.

Funnily enough I tried it on at Selfridges a few hours after you posted this (without having read TRF.)

Harrods yesterday also had a few RG blue dials which I enjoyed having a look at, especially the 15202OR!
