15300.. help!
I am thinking about purchasing a 15300 as my first AP
I have heard of some issues about purchasing a second hand 15300. Can anyone have a look at the polishing of this watch listed on below website? (I was told to avoid overpolished pieces.. I really can't tell if it is overpolished or not) http://www.toptime.co.kr/eng/categor...pt=&searchkey= Thank you everyone in advance |

Looks fine, from what can be gleaned from the images provided – if it has been refinished since being produced, it looks like it’s been done by AP/APSC.
Might be worth spending the cost of a flight and a night over to inspect in person, unless they have a solid no quibble return policy. What are these issues you’ve “heard about”? |

Thank you PJ S.. I am actually visiting Korea at the moment, so I can inspect in person to see if the condition is consistent with the photo.

That’s my favorite 15300 since the date wheel matches

Wind it forward 5-10mins, then back to the correct time — should stay where it is. |

That is not an issue with the watch. It is just a 'quirk' of the movement. It is perfectly fine for it to do that.

I also found it helps if you set the time before winding it up.

Agreed. Lol
Although I've seen posts from some people who find it endearing...
