Service performed by AP

I was quoted 4 weeks for a service from AP for an issue with time not keeping properly. From California to Florida and back to CA, starting from the date of ship and the date received, the total service time was 15 days. Great customer service and speedy turn around time- I am extremely pleased and impressed with their process and outcome.

Q: On the paperwork, it has stated that the module was causing the movement to stop, therefore the module was replaced. I was hoping someone would explain what this means. I am under the assumption that the module is the Dubois chrono and that was the issue, or do I have something mixed up?

The DD chrono module goes on top of the standard AP 3120 movement to make the 3126 movement in the ROO. Recently AP has had some module issues but all that I've seen have been quickly resolved by AP with replacement and owners havent had repeat issues.

I had an issue with my CE 44mm where the time would stop at midnight when the chrono was running. Was quickly serviced by AP and the chrono module replaced and has been perfect since running at +1/4 sec per day. I haven't had this issue with any of my other 3 ROOs with similar movements.

I wish they would hurry up with the in-house chrono already.

Agree but as long as its taken so far I dont think it will be going into the ROO any time soon. From past info they were going to start with a new watch line, then work in into the ROC since the 2385 still isnt in house. I havent heard anything confirming it will make it into the ROO. The ROO started life as a modular movement and now that the base movement is the 3120 I dont know if they would be in much hurry to change it.
