RG 44 with office attire or a suit?
So how do you guys think a RG 44 looks like with office attire (formal shirt tucked in with trousers) or a suit? Is it a big no no or something that looks fine?
To me it looks like a very sporty casual look that goes with casual clothing (jeans & tshirt).... not sure with formal clothing |

I've worn mine with a formal shirt and jacket and I think it looks ok. As it doesn't fit under the shirt cuff I was a bit too conscious of it.

Depends where you work, personally it is too much under a suit and is too flashy if you are in a client facing role. Much prefer my RO or even ROC for suit attire

I wore mine to a very fancy dinner at the Ritz, and a few other guys have worn theirs out to Michelin dinners too, see below. Looks like pics of the watch have gone now but some nice pics of the restaurant are just still there.

It's fine but you may need to get your tailor to enlarge the cuff to fit the watch thickness.

I'll be rocking my occasionally at the office. I'll wear it with a suit and with gym clothes even. Don't want to bring too much attention. But most people are ignorant of AP anyways so I think it's ok. A gold rolex would attract more attention.

I have worn a 44mm ROO with a suit in the past, and think it just looks OK. I wear a 15400 if I'm in a suit now.

RO would be ideal but at some point you make the rules.

I doubt many people will notice or care - unless they are very much into watches themselves. I've never had anyone comment on mine, AP or Rolex. That said, although I run my own business I'm normally wearing shorts, sweatshirt and Timberland boots, so most people probably wouldn't assume I have a multi-thousand pound watch on the wrist!

Check out Proper Cloth. They make custom shirts where you can have the watch cuff made larger. I love their shirts. Live life large.

I've worn my 44 with suits to events and for work. I have not received any snarky remarks so far...
