I never understood this, "selling of watches" thing that some people speak of.

I wear a Casio dress watch to Church (I am a Methodist Minister).
So, for heaven's sakes (pun intended)...keep it and wear it.

I went up the ladder for years from Invicta, to Citizen, then things like Hamilton and Oris, then maybe Omega and Breitling etc. I kept what I liked and sold what I didn't. I gave away a few to family and friends. Its good to have choices.
I know what you mean though sometimes.... its hard to pass up a Rolex to wear something less expensive. But I still love my Seiko Monster so its a good problem to have!

I found myself never wearing my movado so I agree with selling it on eBay.

Keep it as a back up when the Rolex goes in for service.

I agree with others that you should hang onto it until the right moment comes along to gift it (if you no longer enjoy wearing it). Fact is you probably won't get much selling it, but there could be immense value in giving it away.

Keep it if it holds any sentimental value or simply as a beater watch,
