Piaget Polo 18K gold.......

Always wanted one of these and they can be had for $8-10K CAD asking..........depending on gold content, weight, and quality, they could be approaching scrap value.

Thoughts ? I just love this watch.

I loved that watch when it first came out; it was just a fantasy at the time because of the price. If I came upon one, I would be very tempted...go for it!

...an elegant watch for a more civilized age...
Kidding aside, that is THE Piaget in my opinion, and along with Rolex King Midas, not just a watch, but a relic of totally different approach to a luxury design.
I would get that in a heartbeat!

Never heard of the King Midas. I can see the similarities however.

Need to research this Piaget first......lots for sale online........so no pressure and I get the feeling that if I bough one it would be hard to resell unless I got it cheap enough.

Geez......buy one nice watch and now I want to buy another. This is not a good hobby.

I own one just like this with box and papers in like new condition. I think it weighs like 155 grams of solid 18k! I never thought about selling it but I might

Scrap value is going to be closer to $4000.
The dial is going to be pretty small by today's standards, so I would try one on in person first. The case is only 25mm wide.
And they are quartz if that matters.

I was thinking about getting one, but it would have to be pretty close to scrap for me.
