(and yes read your post, Sub without box and no papers PLUS no service history.... ummmmmm).
It's a legit watch, I know the watchmaker selling it. Definitely not a fake.

It’d be the classic 16610 for me. The TT is a bit fancy for a diver unless you want to make a splash?

Hmm.... I had thought a consensus would develop, but the votes are roughly split!!

To be honest, I'm leaning towards the bluesy, if for no other reason than I live the dial and that it doesnt need a service.

Too bad you can't buy both.

If you've already got a SS go for the TT. You'll enjoy the switch up.

Since you already have a SS, I’d lean towards the TT.....I’ve got a 114060, but I want to add the bluesy too. Very tough choice!

Instead of listening to the opinions of others (I vote for the 13LB), put them on your wrist and your heart will let you know which one belongs on your wrist!

There is no wrong answer, but your heart will sing with the right answer!

Just decide & enjoy!

Out of those two, I'd go for the 16610, but I'd look harder for the complete set, just for the peace of mind.

Go for the the steel watch the bluesy looks like an old mans watch. Way to vintage for my taste oh but definitely shoot for a better deal since you don't get the complete piece of mind.

The bluesy looks like something a used car salesman would wear.

Get the one on the right. Bluesy is pretty tacky.

I prefer the steel one over the T/T but I would personally keep looking for a full set.

I'd go with the 16610 Sub but I do love the look of the 16613, if the resale on it wasn't so ridiculous I'd pick one up.

I would argue that 16610 is the GOAT watch. My current taste doesn't jibe with the aesthetics of the blue sunburst dial on the 16613, but that is purely my style.

16610. Wore it as a daily wearer for years. One of my favorite models honestly think the chromed bezel looks better than the upgraded models.

TT Sub all the way... especially if you already have a SS DJ. TT Sub under the sun is magical...

Having had both ( the picture is not a 14060 b.t.w), I would go for the SS Sub. Thd bluesy is nice but not as versatile. You cant go wrong with a SS Sub...bulletproof.

Help me decide between these two subs??

Every day watch, no comparison here take the 16610 all day long..
For a more special kind of thing go with the TT

I like the 6 digit bluesy, but the 5 digit ref imo looks really dated.
I would go for the SS.

SS Sub. BUT, you better be getting a smoking price for no b+P or service history and likely needing a service. I don't care so much about b+P on older references, but for a modern Sub, there are a ton with b+P out there. Price better be right.

I vote 16613. Appearance, provenance and recent service. I wouldn't buy a watch without papers. If you really like the 16610 better, I would look for a complete kit.

Wholeheartedly agree with this...I got a 13lb as my first Rolex when I was 40 as my only and daily. Worn it for the past 17 years and still love it.
I had it serviced in November and within a week I couldn’t stand not having it on my wrist. My AD managed to get me a 116610 with minimal wait. I’m currently getting used to sharing wrist time. All I can say is the TT has not been relegated to the drawer...get the one that makes you smile!

I'm curious why? It's not a private sale. It's being sold by a reputable watch dealer in a brick and mortar store that is guaranteeing authenticity. They have a watchmaker on site and are a swatch group AD.

Am I missing something?
