Well you covered up the 5 - this doesn't help.
At a quick glance it's a 3.3 or the last of the MK3. On what year of watch is it going? As an example, I expect a 1665 rail dial to have a 3.3 insert on it (it's a 5.7ish million watch), so about 1978. |

From what I see on the 40 - it is Fake.
However, you would really need to go out of your way to take a worse photo ; ) Straight on shot, all numbers, phone on a stack of books 6-8 inches high. FOCUSED.

Artificial fade for sure.....fade just around the edge is a tell sign
