Your favorite 1815 metal/dial combo

Title says it all... which metal/dial combo would you get if this watch (1815 CHRONO) was on your short list?

Pink gold white dial with the black dial in close 2nd. If I ever obtained a 1815 chrono I would never wear another watch again.

RG Black Dial without question.

BUT it wouldn’t be a daily watch for me in that metal.

Pretty diverse answers!

Personally I am leaning toward either boutique model or RG/white dial . It wouldn’t be a daily for me , but would be in a rotation. Currently I own a Lange 1, white gold w silver dial. I dress more casual (“sports” watches 75% of the time) , so taking that into consideration, in addition to what the price differential between the models are pre-owned or new plus any discounts from an AD/boutique ( I may be in Germany a few times this year, so will need to do the math there regarding exchange rates and VAT). Not in any rush so plenty of time to ponder and solicit opinions, and consider the economics. Have tried the boutique model and WG/black on in person.

Appreciate all the opinions!

I think it really depends on what look you're going for and what you have.

If you're looking for something sporty, the white gold with the black dial is the way to go. Personally, however, the Speedmaster fills this niche in my collection.

The white gold with the silver dial is probably the most versatile and can be dressed up or down. I'd personally prefer it with blued hands, though.

The pink gold with the silver dial is the dressiest and most classic and I really like the blue hands. It's my personal choice for an 1815 Chronograph and considering that you have a Lange 1 in white gold with a silver dial, this would probably the direction I would advocate for you.

Finally, the pink gold with the black dial is my least favorite but it does look good with a brown strap and is the most unique, although it's also the least versatile, being neither sporty nor dressy. If you've got other watches in the other metals and dials and combinations, however, it may be the one for you.
