For your information I received these prices from a AD in Amsterdam

We do not have ref. 5711/1A, 5712/1A and 5131/1P in stock.
These are very rare watches.

The prices are:
5711/1A 28.000 euro
5712/1A 31.400 euro
5131/1P 122.900 euro

You can get 16% tax back on the watches.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

Best regards,

Ive posted German list prices including 19% VAT here:

5711/5712

5167

So no, not all EU countries share the same pricing, due to different VAT rates.

How is it that, since 2012, the MSRP on the 5167A has decreased from $20,300 to $18,940 (and the 1A from $23,400 to $21,890), while that of the 5711A has increased from $26,700 to $29,800?

I realize that demand for the three pieces is different, and likely different now than it was seven years ago, but given how little correlation there is between MSRP and "market" price/demand, it seems odd that one has decreased and the other increased, no?

If that was the aquanaut price still I would buy one on site, and some bands before they stop selling the color rubber varieties

Special 20% price hike for the 5711/1A and 5712/1A in April 2018 (don't remember if other Nautilus pieces were affected as well, no Aquanaut though)...

Still doesn’t explain the decrease for the Aquanaut. Never seen high end watches have that before.

There was one specific price cut affecting all or at least many models in the US a few years ago. Don't remember the details as I am not living there these days, but I very well remember the 20% hike on the 5711/1A and 5712/1A last year as I was affected...

In 2015 Patek decreased prices by 10% affecting all models in the US and the UK. The UK had a 10% price increase in all models in August 2016, followed by another approximately 5% price increase in all models in September 2017 (mainly due to weak GBP) prior to the 20% price rise on the 5711/1A and 5712/1A in March 2018.
