If I could predict the future I would say PM 5990 first. But nothing more than a guess. Both would be really great, I know everyone loves a good blue dial.

Blue is great, but I also think the grey gradient dial is beautiful. This watch is a great one, congrats again! Post more pics..

My wrist size is on the smaller side as well at 6.75”. 4 links out and I think it fits really nicely. In terms of size and heft it wears smaller than my AP diver and and surprisingly feels pretty light. I was playing with an oysterflex gold Daytona and that thing felt like a brick in comparison.

Wow. Great to know. I have a RG Daytona on OF also coming soon.
Glad to hear the 5990 is actually not that heavy. And it seems to wear the same as other nautilus’ size wise (lug to lug). It looks great on you. I’m looking forward to getting mine even more so after reading these comments by you.

Congrats

It wears more like a fat kid strapped to your wrist :)
Lol

In a good way... I gotta size my 12 for the wife since she now likes the watch thinner
. Thick

The things you do for your wife, Ninja..... lol

It still looks great from the pics.
Will be curious how it stacks up against my 5726A, which btw, feels amazing on the composite strap while waiting on my flight.

And happy Father’s Day to you dads here.

My personal view is the 26 wears more comfortable but the wife would disagree. On composite and leather. It definitely feels more comfortable

I have a 12 on strap... all the straps are more comfortable than the bracelet.

I thought you owned both the 12A and 12R.

I just keep hearing the platitudes about how amazingly comfortable the Patek bracelet compared to Rolex oyster, jubilee, or AP’s RO that I guess I’ve been programmed to believe that it’s the single most comfortable option out there.

I found the leather strap on the 5726a to be ok but the composite is amazing.

I love the 5712r and hope to add that in a year or 2, depending on if I want another PM sports piece to go with the RG Daytona.

After seeing the 5167R, I absolutely love Patel’s take on Rosegold, more so than Rolex’.

I would recommend staying away from the R’s for the nautilus. It scratches way way too easy... it actually upsets me.

Regarding straps, I personally think the oysterflex strap is by far the most comfortable. Brother has 5167, dad 5712r, and I have ap diver. Rolex hands down.

Give me a couple months and I can chime in on how the 5990 bracelet compares.

Well damn Ninja.
Actually that’s great to know. Wow. Had no idea.
Didn’t you have/currently own the 5712A as well?

If so, why not flip the R and wear your SS model?

I have both and a 59801r.

The R’s are all put away. I do wear the 12a... But the wife has finally appreciated the beauty of the 11 and 12 (the case thinness and the blue dials). So instead of her stealing the kids 11, I’m going to size my 12 for her to wear for now so she can enjoy it for a bit.

I have oyster flex as well but found it to be more rigid than I like.

The scratches on the bracelet don’t bother you as much as the scratches on the RG case of your respective models ?

From what I hear, the Nautilus bracelets seem to show their scratches more so than the RO bracelets do.

Do you agree ?

That's a hell of a first, congratulations. This watch craze we are in is putting a big damper on me in getting my first.
