Great watch which was auctioned off three or four years ago. I thought about buying it but the bidding got to the point where I figured it wasn't for me and time to move on.

John.. do you remember what the Easy Rider GMT sold for, the auction estimate was reasonable but I recall it flew past that.

Someone recently bought the Magnum PI watch at an NRA benefit auction.

The two-tone bezel insert for gold pre-ceramic GMTs was the root beer brown/gold combo.

No, the one in Easy Rider did not have the crown protectors (sorry cannot find the name of those parts).

Correct, like the most valuable steel GMTs--the first reference, 6542--the Easy Rider watch had no crown guards... makes it all the cooler.

1675 Chapter Ring Gilt dial with Pcg. Is my my fav Gmt.

I just love all the different color combinations and fades you get with Pepsi inserts. Plus you can always use a all black insert to switch it up.

I can't remember the exact price, but The gold, Easy Rider GMT sold for under $50,000 I believe.

I like yours. I bought and sold that same watch back in the spring. Wish I had kept it. The weight was perfect.
