AP Offshore confusion
Gentlemen,
These past 6 months I have finally taken the plunge into Offshore heaven starting with the 26400IO which my buddy really wanted so I sold it to him when I received my 26405CG grey ceramic. However, there seems to be choices galore so I thought I would pose the question... If you could only own 1 offshore at preowned pricing which would it be in the following budget ranges: 1) $12k to $20k 2) $20k to $30k 3) $30k to $40k 4) Over $50k My answers (tentative): 1) Probably AP Navy on strap white dial 2) 26400IO or the forged-carbon on strap. 3) Torn between one of full ceramic cases versus the rose gold 44mm case (26405CE/CG or 26400RO) 4) Pride of Germany Ceramic case or the platinum case blue dial? |

For me;
3) is definitely RG. No ifs or buts in that 4) Pt.. it has become my daily. Below the radar, comfortable (no weight issues), great with different straps for a change up, and a full scale limited, blue dialed Pt AP ! And this is despite really liking the CE version. So looks like you need to have a few :) |

1) Newer Navy (blue dial now discontinued)
2) Ghost or 44 Forged Carbon 3) Rose Gold 44 original dial 4) Schumi Titanium or Rose Gold Platinum 44 always a favorite as well. Not counting grand comp or crazy pieces like that.

4) ROO ceramic pride of Germany.
Honestly I have seen anything more pleasing to the eye in the ROO range more than this one https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=709719 good luck on your search |

Honestly there are only a couple that suite me. Sub 30k its 26400IO or 15707ce. Over 30k and my preference would be 26405cg.

1) $12k to $20k
26176FO - Bumblebee Forged Carbon and Ceramic, good tech but a bit ugly. https://watchbase.com/audemars-pigue...o-oo-d101cr-02 2) $20k to $30k 15707CE - Ghost https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.A006CA.01/ 3) $30k to $40k 25721ST - Beast D series full box and papers https://watchbase.com/audemars-pigue...t-oo-1000st-01 4) Over $50k 25721BA - Yellow Gold Brick with a blue dial https://watchbase.com/audemars-pigue...ba-o-1000ba-02 OR 26348IO https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.A002CA.01/ Tending towards yellow gold as I would want some bling at over 50k I also don't like numerals that much, prefer blob or straight indices. |

Forgot about the summer edition. Really nice one. I think I’d still go with a Schumi though.
