I believe it depends on if you are in the USA or not. In most parts of the world you get everything back if you want to, in case of a bracelet the price of the new one will be higher if you want the old one back as far as I remember.

Correct, in the UK Rolex will sell you a brand new bracelet SS only without any additional cost even if you are not px the old one, on the precious metals though this is not the case and you pay 50% more I believe.

The return of my pride and joy

I have just received my watch back from Rolex and they have done a good job, looks like new, as you know I didn't go ahead with the strap at £900. At least I know that the watch is watertight, they picked up on a few issues.

This is a watch that is worn everyday for the last 10 years gardening, gym everything, all the dings in the case have been made good.

I have attache some pics as I am about to send the strap off for polishing etc, does it looked stretched ? I am not sure but I must say it shows the rest of the watch up now !!

Yes, but how does it look/fit on the wrist. I have a jubilee bracelet with a bit of stretch but it fits perfectly/tight on my wrist. So it's not noticeable.

Yeah its fine but, nice snug fit but I think that there may be a few lose pins and I don't want to lose the bad boy ....

Bracelet looks wearable for considerable more time. No signs of wear on the inside at all. Just wear it or if it bothers have it refurbished

Reading these posts reminds me of the complaints I read in the BMW forums U.K. of Main Dealers high charges for servicing.
As it has always been the bleat going back many years in the U.K. that on buying a car it’s the cost of keeping it on the road.
Perhaps more so with cars from Audi, BMW & Merc etc.
The same with Rolex etc, you buy the watch costing thousands of WHY then one reads of the bleats in the forums of the high cost of servicing!
It’s an old story!
I say, if you cannot afford the servicing don’t buy the make!
Am sure the staff at RSC’s being for sure, perfectionists, want to see a perfect Rolex leave their premises.
Not a bodge!

Correct, Rolex never returns parts. I read this post to say they are merely refurbishing the bracelet not replacing it. So there is nothing to return any way. I do not believe they would replace the bracelet for the price quoted.

I see that this is a two year old thread but my understanding was that RSC’s will not refurbish bracelets they will only replace them with a new item?
And would a new bracelet have been included at that quoted price?

And to me the bracelet looks like a replacement would have been a good call.
