So very nice of you to post this compilation of your experience so far. Makes me particularly proud that I was born and raised in the canton de Vaud! Do try a glass of Saint Saphorin, nice white from the area!

DAY 2:

Good morning from Le Brassus!

Thank you all for the kind words--it was a full day yesterday and looking forward to another one today.

Headed to the AP manufacturing facility today and will have the presentation of the collection this afternoon.

Should be a fun filled day....will have today's pics posted later this afternoon when we return...

Action packed trip Paul, and lovely shots of the RG44

For me, the most interesting part of the manufacture visit was when I visited the dial section where I met warchmaker master, Mr Marc Ferland and he explained to me how the Jumbo dial was made.

Have been up for 24+ hours, but made it through the day (two hours to rest before dinner).

The AP history is just amazing:

Oldest AP

Nice pocket watches:

Stunning enamel work

MODERN WATCH PRON WARNING: We got to go into the Tourbillion Room - only 60 a year made. Check out the concept and the Ti cased Tourbs--$500K+ only 5 made.

Jaw dropping--to see them in person is amazing:

Only 4 people at AP manufacture Tourbs:

First one made:

Moving on to some ROO's in museum

That's it for today guys. I hope you have enjoyed--tomorrow is another fun filled day! To the manufacturing facility, presentation of the modern collection, among other great things...stay tuned
Awesome Pics! It's funny, one of those Offshore Tourb Chronos was just offered to me by an AD yesterday (one too many zeros for me I'm afraid) but they sure are a marvel to look at! Didn't realize they made so few! Keep the pics coming!

I did not stress the amazing factor on this platty:
It’s a bad boy (for $1m--hence the Version 1 of 1).
And don't get to excited, it's already sold and the owners initials were inside the case (they are actually the rotor).
It was just being finished.

Equation of time, Grand Complication, Minute reapeater, Astronomical phases and perpetual...all in one watch.

JAW DROPPER IN PERSON.
