Calatrava 5153 on small wrists
I've been looking, admiring the Calatrava 5153, such a beautiful piece with white dial on brown leather strap. The case diameter is at 38mm. My wrist measures around 6.5 inches.
Will it look too big on my wrist? If anyone has this or similar ones on small wrists, I'd love to see your photos. Thanks in advance. |

The watch will be fine. It is a tad thicker for a Calatrava due to the solid opening case back.

Really depends on your comfort level. Some collectors are fine with relatively larger watches; some are not.
You also could try to track down the older 5053 (36 mm) which is similar in style (at least to the 5153 with Breguet numerals). That 2mm makes a big difference. |
