I tried that option in safari and Firefox as it asks to add a security exception but it still gets blocked because it is labeled as a ‘blue coat category: phishing’ by my ISP

I am on another forum that is having similar issues, they have installed a DNS browser checker due to reports of the website being unsafe

Same issue for me - no problem connecting using my mobile carrier, but cannot “establish a secure connection to the server” when using my home WiFi

This states yesterday...gave me minor heart palpitations thinking that TRF might be down!!

Don't suppose that nothing is being done behind the scenes in order to reduce the number of these scammers attempting to dupe well meaning members.

If these actions have actually contributed toward the current "status" shown in the thread, it would not surprise me in the least; akin to the after effects of a flu inoculation,

We are more than hopeful that the dust will settle in the next couple of weeks but it is vital that members up their game in terms of link-clicking and what actually constitutes a reliable (and even real) person, when $$$$$$ are involved.

Rolexforums blocked!

Admins:
I just want to bring to your attention that my Asus Router (Aiprotection by MicroTran) has blocked this forum since yesterday as a phishing site. I had to disable it to post this. I am not sure if you have made this forum a phishing site or it is MicronTran. Thank you.

The website itself, is secure. With SSL certificate and password secured encryption.
What’s not safe, is the links being sent out by scammers (phishing) in order to capture information on the unsuspecting members whom falls for it.

My problem is that I had to disable AiProtection in order to access this forum. So something is definitely wrong somewhere, don't you agree?

Not as yet.
When the issue was raised regarding the scammers using links to fool members, (some links to a fake TRF signing page, some to assuming malware), whomever in the World Wide Web, decided to flag the actual ‘real’ site.

Agreed, but I can tell you the site is safe.
It’s your internet provider that has deemed it otherwise.

I got a message saying the sites security certificate was out of date/invalid so it’s just an HTTP connection and not a secure HTTPS connection.

That’s a site issue, not a user issue.

My browser is showing a secure connection...and being accessed using https.
Plus, I never said it was a user issue.

The sites owner (Steve) is aware of it, and attempting to correct whatever is wrong, on either side of the fence so to speak.

Here’s the answer according to them, in the quote above.

In my opinion too many scammers and people looking for cheap watches. Don’t click on anything but really safe chat threads. Private messages are very dangerous. Attachments are hacked!

I have no doubt - just highlighting the message that safari bounced up when trying to access the site via my home isp. No issues when using my mobile carrier

Apologies Rob, didn’t mean for my post to come across the way it did, was just thinking out loud.

It’s totally fine on safari on my iPad on home WiFi Problems only with WiFi at work. The browsers themselves are fine when I tether to a mobile internet connection. HTH

Not surprised and I do not want to agrue with our wonderful Mods

However, my network ops/security center is not flagging this sites DNS as suspicious/phishing/malware.

Is there a script running on the page somewhere? A link or ad somewhere on the site? Something posted by a recent member?

Just curious, since I miss being able to log on during the day.

We do note that TRF is being (wrongly) blocked by certain internet providers, that is NOT being disputed!

What we are saying is the site is safe, and being falsely flagged as a unsafe phishing site. This is because of the unsafe fake links that members have been clicking via PM’s and emails, that are capturing the users login details. We can’t stop people from doing that, even given the numerous warnings of such. The real TRF has been (unfairly) connected unfortunately.

Again, we know the site is being blocked, the site is however perfectly safe, and attempts are being made to rectify. This may take some time, as we have no control regarding who decides what for each and every provider. Thank the scammers trying to fool the unsuspecting buyers.

Where has it been said this is a user issue? I give up....

Re-read my post above!

Last time. The site IS being sensored, we know! This site IS safe, we know!
It IS being blocked by providers (wrongly), for suspected phishing, but it’s simply NOT true.
We can’t make these providers change their embargo overnight. It IS being addressed. I’m out on this topic.....
