To the original OP: You are asking for input on a nice watch with a difficult to understand history. Several highly knowledgeable people have offered to help, but have asked for the complete serial number and reference number, ideally via a picture and they have explained why they need that. They have also asked for information about the service papers, because that may help them solve the mystery for you.
If you continue to provide xxx numbers and blacked out pictures, there is no point in repeating the question, because you will get the same answer. Is there a reason you cannot or do not want to show the full numbers and paperwork? |

If you are sure all is correct (as in Rolex replacement parts), drop into a Rolex service centre. They’ll tell you all you need to know.

Strange post. "Guys, what do you think of this watch?" Questions asked of the OP, and incomplete answers given. OP continues to ask the original question.

This may be a case of fake and genuine parts thrown together. Until the OP shows what the experts are asking for to help authenticate it then I would put it in the franken with fake parts category personally.

The watch is a Frankenwatch. Pure and simple.

Guys hello, thank you for all your respons.
Bought it years ago from a extremely trustful Rolex dealer, so, be sure its not a “Frankenwatch” ;-) |

My .02 opinion is this is a mis mash of parts assembled to this iteration. I don't believe it is something ROLEX would do, but that someone has attempted to do with some ROLEX parts. Enjoy for what it is.

By that reasoning, that makes this a Frankenwatch. Doesn't mean the components aren't all Rolex, but without documentation and service records, it is just that. Finally, to put it in more context, if you were to try to sell it, what proof could you give to a buyer that all the work on this was done by Rolex? If you can't, then why isn't this a Frankenwatch? |

Are you serious? You’ve been provided with an overwhelming number of thoughts on this watch going back TWO years now. All saying the same thing: It’s a Frankenwatch. Clearly, you either refuse to accept that, or are simply waiting for the answer you want to hear. Moreover, why DO you refuse to accept that it’s a Franken?

After looking at the engravings (incorrect as they appear to be) I have my suspicions that is a Phong/Yuki case with a legit movement installed. This may explain why the OP won't show the clear pictures of the serial and model number.

1) Look at the "Palm Beach" photo of the dial and then go look at legit chapter ring dials. 2) Blow up the movement photo posted and you'll see it is a 1030 movement. 3) Look at the case engraving picture. "Stainless Steel" is above not below. |

In this situation I'm sure the seller would just keep the watch advertised until someone comes along and does not ask the right questions. This probably happens all the time. Some people will just buy the shiny object. Buyer beware.

It's funny that the responses are so kind and polite. The OP is obviously full of crap and just toying with the forum.
